They define themselves as “witches’ Sabbath”: the team who put in place Vicente’s ideas. Vicente is the soul and life of BODEGAS GODELIA.
In 2009, Vicente changed direction completely and leaned to a completely different way of producing wine. He had a winery that was not entirely loyal to his project and he decided he had to reach to the end. Either right or wrong, he had to fight for the idea he believed in. After that, he’d start from the scratch.
The real adventure started. The challenge of translating his passion for the ground and viticulture. The basis was clear: his vineyards and a strong bet on Godello. Finca Legúas, which takes up more than 30 hectares today, was one day the foundation of Godelia. Brick after brick, the project was built. A project that is what it is, thanks to Olga, Sara and María José.
Vicente sets the guidelines and the Sabbath works hard on each bottle. They share success and mistakes. Mistakes that teach them how to continue. Little by little, they become more present in the market, adding victories they always, always celebrate with their sparkling wine.
